my mother & father owned Milliken’s Camp. I grew up there. i was surprised by the interest your group has in the history . i have great & interesting memories of growing up there. Carroll Mlliken Villegan
Hi Carroll,
I have been in touch with Drew Viilegan – is that your brother? It turns out that Milliken’s Camp was not on the Lincoln Highway (US 20 west out of South Bend), but on SR 2. SR 2 was West Western Ave, and at this point was about 4 miles south of US 20. It is still of interest as a pre-1930 cabin camp. I have a couple real photo postcards – would you like copies?
